Higher Education Commission (HEC) Ban 4 Universities from Offering Admissions

Islamabad Pakistan ( Frd Education News): Bad news for those universities, which are ban by The Higher Education Commission, because HEC has imposed a ban on four private universities like Lahore’s Imperial College of Business Studies and Global Institute, Management Sciences and Technology, Karachi and Al-Khair University, AJK also among banned varisities from offering Admissions to students in any academic programme all over the Pakistan.

If we look at the previous history, HEC was already take this step before and this is the second warning issued by the HEC after the institutions continued to give admissions to students without addressing the discrepancies highlighted in 2016.

Higher Education Commission concern authority has also stopped sub-campuses, branches and affiliated colleges of these varsities from offering admission. The HEC had issued a public notice in the recent past alarming parents and students from taking admission in the four universities.

It further said that degrees obtained from these institutions and their sub-campuses will not be recognised by the HEC. This step take by following the directives of Prime Minister, HEC Review Panels visited universities in 2016 across the country to check the status of the quality assurance and governance practices, a statement from HEC stated. Many students and people are worried about this step by Higher Education Commission.
