KOCHI (Frd Education News) A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday fixed the time schedule and Completing Admission Process for Medical Seats in all self-financing medical colleges (SFMCs) and also direction to the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) to complete the admission process on August 31.Regarding the fee structure for the admission will be 5 lakh as fixed by the Justice R Rajendra Babu Committee. The bank guarantee and bond will also be in favour of CEE, the Kerala High Court said.
The Kerala Court has been clear all the confussion regarding the spot admission must be conducted in the presence of CEE, representatives of all the medical colleges, and it should be conducted on August 30 and 31 in the auditorium of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. “No seat will be left vacant after these procedures,” the court held.
In the judgment, the bench observed initially the CEE had conducted counselling only for government colleges. The second counselling was conducted on August 19. For some reason, a substantial number of seats were left vacant. The court ordered the first counselling should be completed on August 24 and the details of vacant seats notified on the website of CEE and all medical colleges to help students choose their options.Category: Admissions
