Medical Students Asked to Verify Colleges Before Seeking Admission

Islamabad Pakistan (Frd Admission News): Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has been advised the students for admissions process at medical colleges begins and students of Medical to verify colleges before seeking admission.

PMDC has warned that if any student around the Pakistan accepts admission to an unrecognised medical or dental institution, the student will not be registered with the PMDC and the council will not take any responsibility for any adverse action in their career.

Although a list of recognised colleges is available on the PMDC website, each year students are admitted to unrecognised colleges and therefore are not recognised by the council. The students then blame the council, asking where it was when they were seeking admission.

Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has also advised students to check the list of authorised and registered medical and dental colleges on the PMDC officials website.

According the statement by Registrar Dr Syed Azhar Ali Shah said no medical or dental institution is allowed to train students who are not registered with the PMDC. He added that all institutions advertising admissions must follow seat allocations prescribed by the council to avoid inconvenience in the future.
