Good news for people, because The National Parks Service is Offering Free Admission on select days in 2017 to celebrate its 101st year, including this weekend.
As per routine regular admission ranges from $3 to $30 per person.
Steamtown National Historic Site, Scranton, is the only Pennsylvania park that charges admission, according to the National Park Service. There are six parks in Maryland that charge a fee and six in New York. A list of parks with fees is available here.
While it’s first free date already passed last month, the rest are still to come.
The remaining dates are:
Aug. 25: National Park Service birthday
Sept. 30: National Public Lands Day
Nov. 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend
